THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL

I have heard it described as a "public ivy" but the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is known best for its devotion to broadening students' views of the world through superior teaching, and hands-on research.

The UNC-Chapel Hill campus is wonderful and I think Chapel Hill North Carolina is the perfect college town. There is so much to do such as many athletic events, the basketball museum, great restaurants and theaters and UNC basketball.

I can't imagine that the experiences shared here and the friendships made wouldn't last a lifetime!

Although I did not attend this college, but I have spent some time on campus and it is just amazing! It's not just beautiful, but the students and staff are very friendly, and you can really feel that it is historically significant as well.

I only wish that when I was planning to go to college, I had been advised of the educational opportunities as well as the beauty of the campus and the fun on Franklin Street.

Historic Franklin Street is considered the center of social life for the University, as well as the town of Chapel Hill and it is home to numerous coffee shops, restaurants, museums, music stores and bars. The street in downtown Chapel Hill is notable for its festivities, nightlife, and culture.
