Wake Forest University is located in Winston-Salem, NC. It was founded in 1834 and was originally located in Wake Forest, near Raleigh.

It's a private, coed university that offers thirty-four majors and many interdisciplinary minors in a variety of fields.

Wake Forest is comprised of Wake Forest College; the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; the Schools of Business; the School of Divinity; the School of Law; and the School of Medicine.
