North Carolina's Crystal Coast

  • Atlantic Beach - is located at the Eastern end of Bogue Banks and part of the Crystal Coast. There's always something fun and exciting going on at Atlantic Beach, it has something for everyone. Build sand castles, do a little body surfing, fly a bright colored kite, and maybe do some shopping and get some lunch. A real favorite of all the beaches in North Carolina.

  • Indian Beach - is located in the middle of Bogue Banks, the next to last island in a chain of barrier islands known as the Southern OuterBanks, or Crystal Coast. The town is divided in the middle by the unincorporated community of Salter Path which is quite unusual. There is plenty to do here so come for a visit and find your great vacation spots.

  • Emerald Isle - is located in Bogue Banks, along the Outer Banks. Noted as one of the most beautiful beaches along the eastern coast, you will find an atmosphere that promotes relaxation and fun. Enjoy white sand, good food and plenty of fun!

  • Pine Knoll Shores - located at the central most point of the Bogue Banks, Pine Knoll Shores offers a memorable vacation spot surrounded by protected wetlands and maritime forest. This beautiful town is nationally recognized designation as a "Tree City" demonstrates its commitment to preservation of the diverse forestlands which lie between sound and sea.

  • Salter Path - located in the center of Bogue Banks, it is known for large dunes, white sand, and ocean cottages. Salter Path is quiet area with emerald green waters and pristine beaches. If you like water sports and excitement, you can also try windsurfing, kayaking or jet skiing.

Outer Banks North Carolina Beaches

  • Ocracoke - is one of the barrier islands of the Outer Banks of North Carolina and one of the most private beaches in North Carolina, as it is only accessible by ferry, airplane or private boat. Some call it the finest beach in America and I think you'd agree, with white sand and clean water, you won't be able to resist relaxing on the beach all day long!

  • Corolla - as the northernmost town on the Outer Banks, it is known as the home for the wild ponies that act as mascots around the entire Outer Banks North Carolina. In Corolla, everyone’s mind is on the beaches in North Carolina, as they are crystal clear and seem to go on forever, with fine white sand that gently slopes to the sea. With an outdoor focus, and so much beautiful water, you can't help but want to go out and play.

  • Cape Hatteras - located at the Southern tip of the Outer Bank's Hatteras Island lies Hatteras, a very popular fishing area. If you love the water, there are private charter boats available for amazing deep sea fishing. You might even get a glimpse of a couple of whales enjoying a swim.

  • Duck - located along the Northern Outer Banks, the name comes from the many ducks and waterfowl in the area. Although you won't find any hotels here, there are plenty of charming bed & breakfasts along the coast that will have you wanting to come back often.

  • Southern Shores - located just south of Duck and just north of Kitty Hawk, is the town of Southern Shores. Southern Shores is a beautiful town, with very little commercial development and a marvelous stretch of beach with low-density oceanfront homes behind a protective dune line. Although the beaches are beautiful, visitors come here for the hiking and biking trails.

  • Buxton - located on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks, and home to the tallest brick lighthouse in America - the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. With the history, great surfing and all the fun, this is a place you'll want to visit!

  • Rodanthe - located on Hatteras Island, part of North Carolina's Outer Banks, you will find unspoiled beaches, and quiet. Water sports are big here, and due to the winds, kite boarding and wind surfing are favorites.

  • Nags Head - is the central town of the Outer Banks and offers vacationers white sandy beaches and the many North Carolina attractions and activities in town. You can get your exercise climbing the Bodie Island Lighthouse which also offers a museum, the double Keepers home, a bookstore and other lighthouse exhibits. Or maybe you'd rather just relax on the beach. Either way, you can’t ask for a better day!

Hanover Beaches

  • Carolina Beach - located along the southeastern Atlantic coast, Carolina Beach is a very friendly coastal community that offers relaxing and sunning on the white beaches, to fishing, boating, surfing or wave riding in the blue-green ocean.

  • Wrightsville Beach - located just east of Wilmington is known as a surfers paradise. As one of the busiest beaches in North Carolina, there is activity here all summer long and even into October. Close to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, this is the place to be if you want a lot to do.

  • Kure Beach - located on the southern tip of Pleasure Island, Kure Beach is tucked away but there is so much to do. Between enjoying the beach, restaurants, and all the outdoor activities available, this is one of the great vacation spots.

  • North Topsail Beach - located at the southern end of Topsail Island, off the coast of southeastern North Carolina, the Town of Topsail Beach is the smallest of the three communities located on the 26-mile long island. Come here and enjoy the white beaches, great seafood, warm water, and beautiful days relaxing at the beach.

Brunswick Beaches

  • Caswell Beach - located on the eastern part of Oak Island, this is a place where families come to make memories. Although the beach is a popular destination, so are the historical points of interest. There is plenty to see and do here.

  • Holden Beach - Is known as a family beach and prides itself on being one of the largely residential beaches in North Carolina. Come visit and you will have the peaceful time you look for while on vacation.

  • Oak Island - Visitors who travel to the beautiful beach community of Oak Island love the first sight they get as they drive over the bridge and natural marsh grass of the Intracoastal Waterway. This family friendly beach is the largest coastal community in North Carolina and provides some great activities.

  • Ocean Isle Beach - located in the middle of the Brunswick County Beaches, this is one of the most popular vacation spots on the North Carolina coast. There is a lot to do if that's what your after, or you can relax all day looking at the beautiful beaches, or grabbing a bit to eat.

  • Sunset Beach - A small coastal town, Sunset Beach is the perfect place to visit if you're looking for a laid back atmosphere and friendly faces. There are many different activities to enjoy while staying on the island.
