North Carolina Aquarium
An Opportunity to Learn and Appreciate Aquatic Life
Come visit the North Carolina Aquarium and learn about how they are promoting awareness and appreciation for the waterways and sea life!
One of the most popular North Carolina attractions for every age is the Aquarium. It doesn't matter what age you are or where you're from, aquatic life is fascinating to us all.
In 1976 there were three North Carolina aquariums established in order to teach the public about aquatic life and how we can appreciate and understand both the natural and cultural resources associated with North Carolinafs ocean, rivers, streams, and other aquatic environments.
Many people are interested in the conservation efforts to keep the North Carolina coast and the North Carolina beaches pristine and visiting the North Carolina Aquarium is the first step in learning the best ways to do this.
There are three locations you can visit, so take a look at the map of North Carolina and highlight these areas.
